Therapy That Understands the Patterns Beneath the Pain
Lasting change happens when we understand why patterns repeat — not just how to manage the symptoms they create.
Emotional pain rarely appears out of nowhere. It develops from deeply learned relational and nervous-system patterns that once served a purpose but now feel exhausting, reactive, or destabilizing.
You may have insight into your behavior.
You may understand how your early experiences shaped you.
You may know why you react the way you do.
And yet, something keeps repeating.
This work goes deeper.
My role is to help you identify the pattern at its root, understand how it formed, and build the structure and regulation skills necessary to shift it — not temporarily, but sustainably.
How I Think About Change
Insight alone is rarely enough.
Meaningful change requires structure, emotional regulation, and a clearer understanding of what is driving the pattern beneath the surface.
Therapy with me is intentional, focused, and contained. Together, we identify the cycle, understand how it formed, and develop the relational and nervous-system skills needed to interrupt it.
This is depth-oriented work — designed for long-term pattern change rather than short-term symptom relief.
Who I Typically Work With
Many of the adults I work with are thoughtful and high-functioning. They appear steady on the outside, yet feel internally dysregulated in relationships.
You may notice:
Emotional reactivity or shutdown during conflict
Attachment anxiety or fear of abandonment
Self-criticism, shame, or persistent self-doubt
Relational patterns that continue despite insight
A sense of identity instability during stress or closeness
You are not broken.
Your patterns make sense once we understand how they developed.
And they can change.
